NEMMCO Settlements
Minimize
Sage have been market leaders in NEMMCO settlement reconciliation since the commencement of the NEM, providing FRMPs using their systems with lower risk, better analysis, and better cashflow management by detecting and resolving settlement discrepancies earlier and more efficiently.

A key feature of Sage EMS NEMMCO Settlement Reconciliation is the high degree of automation included. Sage EMS not only identifies discrepancies automatically, but then goes on to investigate the cause for them, and initiates and tracks actions to resolve the discrepancies.

Sage EMS NEMMCO Settlement Reconciliation provides:
  • Full market settlement reconciliation at TNI / day / ½-hour level against NEMMCO RM16 reports.
  • Full market settlement reconciliation at NMI / day level against NEMMCO RM27 reports.
  • Profiling of basic meter consumption using RM20 profile shapes to enable NMI level consumption comparison with RM27 reports.
  • Detailed NMI level consumption reconciliation by utilising RM13 reports.
  • Full profiling support for basic metered connection points.
  • High speed reconciliation – Sage EMS can recalculate a full settlement run for a one-million NMI participant in around 30 minutes.
  • Full integration with Exception Management.
  • Calculations that include loss factors and regional reference prices.
  • Calculations of MWh and dollar figures and processing of weekly NEMMCO invoice amounts.
  • Support for adjustment reconciliation.
  • Support for generator payment reconciliation.
  • More than ten different reports on various settlement figures and discrepancies, designed to allow settlement offices to concentrate on big-ticket items that will have the biggest cash flow impact to the FRMP.
  • Supports for multiple participant IDs where a market participant is responsible for multiple participant IDs – as a result of mergers and acquisitions, for example.
