Sage EMS Exception Management is a core component that supports the highly automated processes in other core modules, such as missing data management, settlement reconciliation, etc. It comprises:
- Automated detection and resolution of exceptions such as missing data, invalid meter data, billing and settlement discrepancies
- Integration with B2B – automatically sending Provide / Verify Requests for missing or suspect data and processing acknowledgements and associated MDNs.
- Statistical reporting by exception type, responsible business unit, external party, etc. Week by Week and Month by Month reporting on total exceptions can track the effectiveness of business processes, or the performance of external parties.
- Supports management of KPIs for both internal and external parties.
